Stateroom Eligibility
As long as one guest in the stateroom is described as eligible above, the following would apply:
- All other guests in the same stateroom would be eligible for the interline rate
- (One) additional stateroom may be booked with guests in that stateroom being eligible for the interline rate
- A (second) additional stateroom may be booked with guests eligible for the interline rate only if one of the two additional staterooms is occupied by extended family.
- Maximum of three cabins can be booked per eligible guest, per sailing date only as described immediately above.
Cunard:
- Employees of Commercial Passenger and Cargo Airlines
Spouse of Airline employee
- Dependent children of Airline employee
- Parents or Parents in Law of Airline employee
- Retired airline personnel and their spouses
- Friends are eligible when sharing a cabin with an eligible interline person
- Military are NOT eligible for interline rates
- Sabre and Apollo employees are NOT eligible
- Air Traffic Controllers are NOT Eligible
Disney:
- An active employee of scheduled passenger airline only
- Retirees of scheduled passenger airlines only
- Two rooms or staterooms per booking for eligible airline employee (active or retired)
- Airline employee MUST be a member of the traveling party
Employees of cargo or overnight freight airlines (FedEx, UPS, etc.), spouse, and parents of an airline employee traveling without
the employee, and FAA employees are NOT eligible.
Airline employee may be required to show proper employee identification at the port of embarkation.
Explora Journeys:
• Current employees of a domestic or international commercial passenger airline carrier.
• Current employees with a licensed travel company or hotel.
• The spouse, domestic partner, parents, parents-in-law and dependent children of an interline
employee guest may book one suite if the interline employee guest is not travelling.
• Pilots who are currently employed with a domestic or international cargo airline, such as
Federal Express, DHL Worldwide Express, Astar Air Cargo or United Parcel Services (UPS),
are eligible to book one suite.
• Current employees with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Air Line Pilots Association
(ALPA), National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA), Worldspan, Sabre, Galileo and
Amadeus.
• Retired airline employees and retired cargo airline pilots are eligible to book one suite
provided the airline is still in operation (e.g. retired employees of Pan American
Airways do not qualify).
• Widows/widowers of deceased airline employees/retirees with flight benefits.
Non-eligible interline guest:
• Temporary, on-call interns and contract employees
• Helicopter operators and private or charter airline company employees
Booking Procedure:
• Qualifying interline guests must submit a letter of employment verification, a copy of their
company photo ID, or proof of flight benefits at the time of booking.
• Interline guests must be employed with the company for a minimum of six (6) months prior to
making the booking.
• The booking payment schedule is the same as full fare paying reservations.
Holland America:
- Active and retired Interline employees, defined as employees of IATA/ARC appointed international, regional, courier, and cargo airlines or active employees of FAA, TSA, Air Marshalls, Air Traffic Controllers, or Global Distribution System (GDS) Suppliers. Employee’s specific position must be eligible for flight benefits through their employer to qualify.
- Eligible family members are defined as spouses, parents, parents-in-law, and children of the eligible Interline employee. Eligible family members traveling without the Interline employee are approved for up to four staterooms at the Interline rate as long as there is an eligible family member in each stateroom.
- Additional guests sharing the same stateroom with an eligible Interline employee or eligible family member.
PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY: HAL will audit all Interline bookings and require proof of eligibility. If AGENCY is not able to provide proof, HAL reserves the right to adjust the booking to the CURRENT applicable rate. For the avoidance of doubt and notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, AGENCY understands and agrees:
- It is solely responsible for verifying that the Interline rates quoted by HAL, HAL’s reservation system or other distribution system (including any GDS system) are for eligible Interline passengers only and not for retail passengers.
- Under no circumstance will bookings with Interline rates for ineligible passengers be protected.
- Proof of eligibility required within 24 hours of booking to interline@hollandamerica.com.
MSC:
The following people qualify for interline rates with MSC:
- Commercial Airline Employees
- GDS Employees (Amadeus, Sabre, Worldspan, et cetera)
- UPS, FedEx, DHL
- Spouses
- Dependent Children
- Retired airline employees
- Retired airline employees from defunct airlines
- Parents
- Parents in Law
- Military & Retired Military with Military ID (immediate family only)
INTERLINE RATE QUALIFICATION:
We require the interline agency to be able to provide a current letter of employment on company letterhead and a photocopy of the Interliner’s corporate ID card. Parents and Parents in law of the employee, are required to have a letter from the son/daughter’s employer stating that they are the parents or in laws, in addition to the son/daughter's current letter of employment and photocopy of corporate ID. Parents and Parents in law can cruise with or without the qualified Interliner. Retired employees, are required to provide a letter on company letterhead referring to their employment and that they are eligible for all discounts and/or a copy of your ID card. Retired employees from defunct air carriers must provide a copy of their
company photo ID. Proof of Interline eligibility is required to be filed with the Interline Agency prior to departure within 30 days of booking . Without proof of Interline eligibility before departure, MSC Cruises reserves the right to automatically adjust the rate.
Maximum three staterooms per interline associate (the actual person working or retired from organizations listed above) to accommodate those mentioned in the qualification list.
Norwegian:
- Airline employees
- Spouses of airline employees
- Dependent children of airline employees
- Parents of airline employees
- Retired airline employees
- Parents-in-law of airline employees
- Interline rates apply to members of the airline community listed above and apply to only one cabin per eligible passenger, except that airline employees traveling with a spouse and dependent children may request an additional cabin which will be confirmed at NCL's sole discretion.
Eligibility Clarification:
– Military (US & Canadian) qualify the same as airline employees
– 2 cabins are allowed if the actual employee/retiree is traveling and the second cabin contains an eligible person is in the
second cabin, otherwise 1 cabin only
Exception: 2 cabins are allowed if four passengers want to travel but no quads are available
– an additional (2nd or 3rd) cabin may be allowed (e.g. friends & family) at the same rate, but only with NCL’s permission. We need to ask the res agent at the time of booking to check for permission.
Oceania:
- Active airline employees and their spouse, dependent children and parents
- Retired airline employees (including those retired from now-defunct airlines)
- Friends/companions sharing stateroom accommodations with active or retired airline employees.
- Employees of Cargo Carriers (e.g. FedEx), National Air Traffic Controller's Association, National Pilots Association
If a qualified Interline Employee is traveling, they can bring friends along as well for the same Interline price in a separate stateroom, but only on new reservations booked inside of 90 days of sailing. Must be traveling with a qualified Interline employee. You may not cancel and rebook an existing reservation to get the Interline rate. All other Interline terms and conditions apply.
Paul Gauguin:
- Active airline employees (Scheduled and Cargo)

The Interline Program rates apply to members of the active/retired Interline community as listed above and apply to only 1 cabin

Princess:
- Interline rates are special discounts for employees of commercial and cargo airlines (including air traffic controllers), as well as GDS companies. Interline can only be booked through designated Interline Agencies.
- Each cabin with an eligible employee/participant, as defined below, may add a second cabin on the same sailing at the interline rate. Cabin splitting is prohibited.
- Commercial airline, cargo airline, air traffic controllers or GDS employees as defined below

Disclaimers:
If the Airline Employee is deceased, the benefits of the Interline fare are still applicable for as long as the guest can supply the appropriate verification/ID currently required. As stated above, eligible participants must be employees of commercial or cargo airlines, air traffic
controllers or GDS companies. Helicopter operators and private or charter airline companies are not considered commercial airlines and do not qualify for Interline rates. Please note that currently furloughed employees that met the eligibility noted above remain eligible for these benefits.
Regent Seven Seas:
- Active airline employees (Scheduled and Cargo)
- Spouse of employee
- Dependent children of employee

- A second cabin can be booked for friends/family as long as the active employee or their spouse/registered partner is traveling.
- Retired employees do not qualify for a second cabin.
- A third cabin can only be booked if the active employee is in one cabin, their guests (friends/family) are in the second, and their parents are in the third.
- If two Interline employees are sailing in the same cabin a total of 5 cabins can be booked under the Interline rate.
Seabourn:
- Present-Active Airline Employees
- Present-Active Pilots of Cargo Carriers.
- Spouse or friends traveling in the same cabin as Present-Active Airline Employee.
- Spouse of Present-Active Airline Employee traveling independently of Present-Active Airline Employee.
- Dependent children traveling and sharing a cabin with Present-Active Airline Employee (There is no age limit for dependent
children)
- Retired Airline Employees and Retired Pilots of Cargo Carriers.
- Retired Airline Employees of Defunct Airlines.
- Parents of Present-Active Airline Employees.
- Parent’s In-laws of Present-Active Airline Employees.
Eligibility is limited to one cabin per interline ID. Seabourn does NOT allow for the splitting of cabins. If both the employee and
spouse are traveling they must share the same cabin.
EXCEPTION TO ABOVE RULE: If you have a family of four (4) traveling and there are no quad cabins available, you may request 2
cabins. Permission is at the sole discretion of the Cruise Line.
A Letter of Employment verification, from the Interliners' respective Airlines' Human Resource Department, IS REQUIRED before
Seabourn will confirm the Interline reservation.
SeaDream:
- Active and Retired Airline employees
- Each airline employee, with proper airline identification is allowed one guest in their stateroom at the same rate.
A photocopy of the airline employee's valid airline badge must accompany the Interline Rate Request Form.
Silversea:
- All IATA/ARC airline employees, their spouses, dependent children, the parents of the
airline employee and retired personnel.
- Parents may travel independently from the employee and receive the interline discount.
- A non-airline companion may share a suite with any eligible person and receive the interline discount.
- Cruise line employees are also eligible.
- An Interline guest can book two suites on the same sailing with one payment source. The payment must come from the Interline guest for the second suite.

Star Clippers:
- Airline employees

Star Clippers requires proof of Interline Rate Eligibility immediately upon confirmation of your booking. Without proof of
qualified interline eligibility, Star Clippers reserves the right to automatically adjust the price to the applicable retail rate
prior to departure.
Uniworld:
- Active Airline employees & guest in same room
- The following immediate family members of the active airline employee are eligible for the interline rate in a second cabin, but
must be traveling with the airline employee:
- Parents of the active airline employee
- Dependent children of the active airline employee
- Retired Airline employees
Viking:
- Airline employees
- CRS Providers (Amadeus, SABRE, etc.)
- Air Express providers (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Members of immediate family of the above (Spouse, dependent children)
- Parents of the above, including In-Laws
- Retired employees of the above
- Proof of employment must be provided with payment
- One eligible interline adult must occupy each cabin booked
Virgin Voyages:
- Active or retired airline employees of currently operating passenger airlines
- Interline employee must travel
- Up to three additional cabins may be booked per interline employee Virgin Voyages requires proof of Interline eligibility. ID must be submitted immediately after confirmation. Without proof of eligibility, Virgin Voyages will automatically adjust the pricing to the current retail pricing.
Windstar:
- Airline Employees, spouse, Parent, Parents-in-law, retirees, and retiree’s spouse of existing IATA/ARC appointed
international, regional commuter, or cargo airlines.
- One additional cabin available for Friends & Family; total of two (2) cabins per sailing.
- Employee’s/Retiree’s spouse, parents & parents in law may travel without the Employee/Retiree
